Question:

I am looking for a 2 hitch for my 2009 PT Cruiser. When I plug in my car, I only see two options that are both 1.25. Do you have a 2 option that will fit? Let me know. Before I will look elsewhere. Thanks

The only trailer hitch options that were massed produced for your 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser are 1-1/4" hitch receivers:

- Curt # C11132
- Draw-Tite # 24759

Aside from that if you're wanting something larger you'll need to have it fabricated by a shop.

If you'd rather stick with one of these options then I recommend going with the Curt because it has more points to install the hardware so it's a bit more stable, and the receiver has a reinforced collar which not only looks nicer but it gives you a place to install anti-rattle devices if one is needed/wanted.

If you were planning on using this for a bike rack I recommend the Kuat Beta # B202-114 since you can only carry 2 bikes safely with a Class I hitch receiver. I really like the beta because it only weighs 12.6 lbs and it can fold up nice and compact when not in use.
