Question:

Greetings I have a 2022 Forest River Wildwood heritage glen travel trailer that in empty weight is 9,088 empty weight with max capacity added weight of 2,312 lbs for total of 11,400 lbs. can the LC67216 handle up to an extra 1,400 lbs? if not what can I use? I dont use the TT at full weight to my knowledge I just bought the TT in October 2022 and have used it twice now short runs less than 50 miles without a scale visit to find out exact weight. I will be definitely for doing my long run in Sept 2023 Fort Worth texas from Goodyear AZ setting up multiple times at campgrounds along the way and at Texas Motor Speedway.

The Electric Ground Control TT Automatic 5-Point Travel Trailer Leveling System # LC672136 unfortunately is not going to work with your trailer since its GVWR is over 10,000lbs, even though you don't really load it to that point. When it comes to capacities for pretty much anything you're really only supposed to use about 80-85% and leave an extra 15-20% as a safety barrier.

The best option to help level and stabilizer your trailer is going to be the installing two of the Ultra-Fab Power Twin II Electric Stabilizer with Dual Motors # UF39-941705. With a 6,000lb capacity, placing one at the front and one at the rear of the trailer will give you a capacity just over your trailer's GVWR. The brackets will but up to the outer edge of your frame rails so you'll need to take a quick measurement to see if they fall within the 48" to 80" wide range of these stabilizers.

This isn't going to be an automatic process like the # LC672136 and will require you to work the switch to get your trailer leveled out. I've attached a short video below where Randy will take you through the features and usage of these stabilizers.
