Can AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs # AL60754 Be Installed With Separate Air Lines for Each Air Bag
Updated 02/04/2014 | Published 02/01/2014 >
Question:
When I route the air lines, instead of running them together and then tee to the back, can I run them separate to the rear of the vehicle! So when i air them up, I can do either side?

Since the AirLift 1000 Kit # AL60754 includes two Schrader valves you are free to install the kit with separate air lines to each bag so that you can have independent adjustment of the air springs. This kit comes with 15-feet of air line; if you need more for your preferred location for valve installation you can use their Replacement Air Line Kit # AL22007 or locally source 1/4-inch air line.
Be sure to route the air lines well away from moving suspension components and hot exhaust components that could damage it. Also make sure to always have at least 5-lbs-psi pressure in the bags at all times to prevent damage. It is recommended to re-check your inflated pressure after 24-hours; a loss of 2 - 4 lbs of pressure after initial inflation is normal.
