Will Old Thule Hullavator Kayak Carrier Work on 2017 VW Tiguan with Aero Crossbars

Good afternoon. I recently was given a thule hullavator for my kayak. I have a 2017 vw tiguan with factory side rails that have 48inch long cross bars. The hullavator only seems to have mounting hardware that fits a different style cross bar. My question is - do I need to order new cross bars or different replacement installation hardware? My current cross bars do offer 4inch of overhang while being centered and could be offset to one side for more overhang. Looking into cost effective mounting if its better to get new mounting hardware or new bars. Hopefully the attached pics help.

It looks like you have the older Thule Hullavator Kayak Carrier which is only compatible with square crossbars. If you want to reuse this without upgrading the carrier you'll have to obtain this type of crossbars. If you have raised factory side rails, you can go with the Malone SteelTop Roof Rack part # MPG203 which has 65" long square crossbars and will work great with the older Thule Hullavator Kayak Carrier.
