What is the best material to use to unfreeze frozen nut from ball hitch?

Expert Reply:
Spray penetrating oils like WD40, PB blaster or Liquid Wrench would be a great option for helping your frozen coupler unstuck from your hitch ball. Typically it's best if you spray it, give it a couple taps with a hammer to help let the penetrating oil set, and then give it several minutes to work its self free. Repeat as necessary.
If you can keep the locking mechanisms as clean as possible this will do the best job at preventing it from happening in the future.
