Question:
I have a 2014 Nissan Murano SL that I plan to use to pull a 17 ft Viking travel trailer. The Murano currently has a 4 pin flat connector. What equipment do I need to connect a 7 pin connector from the travel trailer and a brake controller? Thank you.

Since you already have a 4-way like # 55571 on your 2014 Nissan Murano SL, you'll just need one part to add a 7-way:
- Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7
You'll plug the 4-way into the 7-way that comes with the # ETBC7, which also gives you the wiring, circuit breakers, and rest of the hardware needed for installation.
After that all you need is the brake controller and harness, and for that a good option is a simple, no-frills controller, the Curt Discovery Trailer Brake Controller # C84VV with Harness # C51515.
