Vehicle: 2003 Lincoln Town Car I need your best trailer wiring harness that is powered off of the battery and has a 4-pin connector at the opposite end. I was told that there might be one that plugs into a socket.

The 4-Way trailer wiring harness I recommend for your 2003 Lincoln Town Car is the Curt # C59236. This splices into the OEM wiring on your vehicle and comes with a wire lead that connects to the battery on your vehicle to power your trailer lights.
I also recommend picking up Mounting Brackets # 18144 and # 18140 so you can secure the 4-Way connector by your hitch receiver for easy access.
