Do Fryers with Their Own Regulators On a Food Truck Need a Regulator on the Propane Tanks

I have a food truck with 2 fryers on the inside I have a regulator on the outside, I know the fryers come with regulators is it a bad thing to have an additional appliance regulator, like will that affect anything?

Propane can be a pain to understand sometimes but we are here to help!

The short answer is yes, having an additional regulator can be a bad thing, but if you check the manuals for your fryers they should say whether you need high pressure or regulated propane running to them.

On a typical RV setup you're going to have your propane tanks connected to a regulator that then feeds into the propane piping that runs throughout the RV. Different appliances may or may not have another regulator just to make sure the propane is the exact pressure for that product - their manual will tell you what you need to know.
