Question:
Does the carrier rattle when driving on roads? How about bumpy roads. In the video it appeared to move and rattle pretty easily?

Expert Reply:
There would be some movement of the 23x47 Carpod part # M2205-2201 when it's installed in your hitch but in general it's not a lot of movement and any noise would be miniscule. Some of the movement would be based on the clearances of your current hitch as a looser hitch would allow more movement. Aside from that hitch accessories like this that have ability to fold up do allow for more movement due to the pivoting mechanism.
Now with that said if you used an anti-rattle hitch lock like the part # 63232 you'd eliminate all of the movement between the hitch and the shank of the carrier plus it is a lock to help prevent theft.
