Does The MaxxAir MaxxFan Deluxe Lid Allow Daylight Through

Question:

Hello, I am building a camper out of a 20foot car hauler and am in the process of getting a material list together. Could you please tell me if the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat - Manual Lift - 10 Speed - White Item # MA00-05100K allows light to pass through like traditional RV ceiling vents. I have tried discerning from the photos, but still cannot tell. Sincerest thanks,

Due to the design of the lid on the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat # MA00-05100K you really won't get much light passing through if any on your trailer.

If you're looking for an option that comes with a light then we also have the MaxxFan Mini Plus Manual RV Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00-03801 (white) or # MA00-03851 (black), which comes with an LED light ring to help illuminate your trailer. It's not as powerful of a fan as the deluxe, but kills two birds with one stone.

If you're looking to upgrade the lighting in your car hauler then I highly recommend the Opti-Brite 12V/24V LED RV Dome Light # OPT98FR. I installed some of these in a 40' car hauler for a neighbor that needed more light to work on his racecar out at the track during the night, and it was a night and day difference between the factory lights and these.
