Valterra ABS Tank Fill Kit that Could Attach to Bottom of Water Tank

Question:
I want to relocate the line from the freshwater tank to the water pump from the side of the tank to the bottom of the tank. Its a black ABS tank and I really dont want to pay $200 for a spin driver considering it would only get used once. I see in one of you fill kits you have fittings that use ABS solvent but they are 3/8 and I need 1/2. Also do you see any problems with putting one of these on the bottom of a 50 gallon tank. My trailer is an EVO T2160.

Since you want to move the line to the bottom of the tank the kit that you'd want that uses ABS solvent like you mentioned would be the part # RK908 which has a straight barbed inlet design. The inlet is actually a 1-1/4 inch barbed fitting though.
