Recommended Class II Hitch for a 2023 VW Tiguan

Question:

Hi, Im looking for a class 2 hitch, mo wiring required, for a 2023 Tiguan SEL - R line. Seems like there is a lot going on under the rear bumper. Do not want any cutting. Look forward to your reply- Thank you

To add a class II hitch to your 2023 Tiguan you will want the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C12177. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your VW with included hardware.

You will definitely need to make some cuts underneath your vehicle, especially since you have the R-Line. This is the same for every hitch available for your VW. The good thing is they won't be visible unless you're lying underneath your vehicle.

I have linked the instructions below along with an installation video so you can get an idea of what you're going to be undertaking. I have also attached a couple of pictures that will show you where you are going to have to cut into.
