Mounting Height Range for CE Smith Keel Roller Assembly # CE32005G for 2-Inch Wide Trailer Tongues
Published 01/17/2014 >
Question:
Hi, could you tell me the lowest two heights this bracket can be adjusted to on a 2x2 tongue. I need to see if either of these two heights are comparable to an existing fixed position welded on bracket when it comes to roller height to the flat area in the middle of the roller. Thanks,

The CE Smith Keel Roller Assembly for 2-Inch Wide Trailer Tongues, part # CE32005G, has multiple mounting holes to allow it to fit on a 2-inch trailer tongue at any of 4 or more different heights depending on how it is oriented.
Please refer to the attached image which shows two photos of this part mounted in two different height positions on a 2-inch tube (which represents your trailer tongue).
When mounted in the lowest position (please refer to the photo on the left) and angled so that the two mounting bolts both contact the tubing, the top center of the keel roller will be approximately 4-1/2-inches above the top surface of the tubing. When in the second lowest position the top center of the keel roller will be approximately 5-1/4-inches above the tubing.
The included video will also help illustrate the manner of attachment and resulting roller heights.
This CE Smith Keel Roller Assembly comes complete with pre-installed roller, two brackets and two sets of mounting bolts and lock nuts.
