Question:
We bought a Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2 Hitches - Wheel Mount Item # TH83JV Unfortunately the car was hit ftm behind and it destroyed the locking mechanism. The mechanism worked by turning a handle, which turned a long bolt which drew a conical metal piece in locking the rack into place. The handle and locking mechanism was destroyed. Can we buy a replacement ?

Expert Reply:
Sorry to hear about the accident and hope everyone is ok, though the handle and locking mechanism by themselves are not available as replacement parts for your Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH83JV.
You'd have to get a complete stinger assembly, the Replacement Lower Assembly and 2" Stinger # TH37MY.
