The "P.L" error code on the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90885 is caused by a power interruption while the brake pedal is depressed per the owner's manual. The code should go away when the error is fixed i.e. reapplying power. If not, you will need to remove power from the brake controller via the plug on the back of the unit for a few minute and then reattach. There are no other code clearing procedures.
