Will Curt Trailer Hitch 15409 Fit a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 with Factory Installed Trailer Hitch

Question:
Will Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15409 Fit 2007 Dodge 2500 Mega Cab With CL IV hitch that came factory with the truck? My trailer unloaded has a tongue weight of 1300lbs and the current CL IV hitch is rated for 1000lbs. Will I have to remove the factory installed CL IV hitch?

Yes, the Curt trailer hitch # C15409 will fit a 2007 Ram 2500 if it has the OEM trailer hitch. The Curt hitch will fit under the OEM hitch. I have included a link to a video showing a typical installation of this hitch and a link to the instructions for you.
