How to Identify Self Adjusting Brakes Installed on Dexter 7,000LB Axle for 2019 North Point 377 RLBH

Question:

I have a 2019 Jayco North Point 377 RLBH.It has 7000 axles.I need to replace the brakes.I have self adjusting brakes.Should be dexter.One side came apart and I have a spring hanging between the drum and backing plate.It is possible to find out what I have with out taking it apart?Probably need one drum.Thx for your help.

With a Dexter 7,000lb axle and self adjusting electric trailer brakes you will likely have the Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-464-465. There is a small stamped area on the outside of the backing plate which will give you information on the brake assembly or if you have the serial number for your Dexter axle I can use that to verify all the parts installed on your axle from the factory. This will allow me to know exactly what grease seals, bearings and other parts you might need as well without having to disassemble your hubs.
