is there a blank fifth wheel adaptor plate that one can weld in their own 3 ball ? I need a plate with a 3 ball on it and I do not find one on your site.

I do have an option for you but all of our fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter plates such as the Demco Premier Series Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for 5th Wheel Rails part # DM5996 come with a welded-on 2-5/16" hitch ball as this is the most common size. I have attached for you below some 3" hitch ball options you might be able to successful weld onto the above plate with modifications but we don't offer anything exactly like what you're wanting. In all honesty, I don't think this is the safe way to do things either. If you absolutely need a 3" hitch ball you'll have to install an actual gooseneck hitch.
