Question:
Hi. It is difficult to find the right step rail for my Rockwood 8337RL. Your item # MR93RR seems to be close. By your description, I have the 1st generation. My step model is the MORryde STP-3-30-07. You write 33inch of clearance is required. I have exactly 33inch just above the breaker box so I am trying to get your take on whether is rail will work on my RV or not.

The Handrail for First Generation 3-Step MORryde Steps # MR93RR does require a clearance of 33" inside of your camper. This is because the handle folds into your doorway, along with the steps. You do not need to have more than 33", just at least 33". So if you have exactly 33" of clearance then you will be good to go.
It sounds like you were already able to determine that you have the first generation steps. Meaning your MORryde steps have a removable pin to adjust and lock the legs in place.
