Question:

I want to install a fifth wheel 7 pin connector in the bed of my 2022 GMC Sierra 2500. Hopkins and Curt both make a plug and play product I’m not sure which model numbers or am I better off going to my GMC dealer for the part that I need? Thank you in advance

The Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness item # C53CR is by far the best option for an in bed 7-way. I highly recommend it over the Hopkins item # HM54FR. Curt's wiring harnesses are far more reliable. GM uses Curt products for their towing equipment so if they have one in stock it is most likely the exact same part.

I have linked an installation video below to help you with the installation process. I have also attached a couple of pictures that will show you what this connector looks like when installed. There should already be a knockout on the left rear side of your truck bed back by the tailgate.
