Will Bauer Magnetic Door Holder Be Able to Hold Wet Compartment Door Weight

Hello, my question pertains to the Bauer magnets for compartment doors. I have a 2015 Cougar 5th and when the side doors are in a wet climate they get heavy, are these magnets capable of holding the door open. When the doors dry out a bit from the weather they are quite a bit lighter. Please advise, kind regards

The Bauer Products Steel Strike Plate # BA78VR and Negative Magnetic Door Holder for Compartment Doors # BA38VR has a 10-lb rating but that is doubled if you also install the Positive Magnetic Door Holder # BA58VR to 20-lbs. As long as your compartment door doesn't weigh more than 20 lbs when wet this solution will work just fine!
