Great question!
The AMPLock Trailer Coupler Lock # AMP44FR works for couplers that connect to a 2-5/16" hitch ball and the coupler has a flat lip design. This is pretty standard for trailer couplers but I'm also linking a review video of this coupler lock for you to check out. If you take note at the start of the video you'll see the flat lip design I was talking about.
If you have the flat lip coupler but you use a 2" hitch ball to tow then you can use the part # AMP64FR instead. This is the same thing as what you asked about just with a smaller hitch ball. I'm attaching a review video for this lock as well.
