Question:
I have an enclosed trailer that has 2 interior LED dome lights with only a single switch by the side door. I also have an exterior LED 6” bar light over my rear drop down door, with a single switch just inside the rear door on the wall. I want to be able to turn my interior lights off/on from the side door location and also at the rear. Do I need a double switch at rear? One to work as a 2 way with side door switch and the other to operate the existing light over the rear drop door? How would I wire them? I do have a breakaway battery and its own 12V battery inside the trailer. Thanks

I recommend placing 2 of the Single Rocker Switch # 37212635 at both the front and rear door with the Double Bezel RV Switch Faceplate # 37213615 at each location. This way you will be able to control both lights from either location. Each switch is rated for up to 10 amps of power with up to 14volts.
Each switch has 3 terminals the center terminals are for connecting to your input power or the 12 volt light. The outer terminals are for connecting to each switch as travel wires. So you will have one switch at either door supplying power for both switches on the center terminal. The 2 outer terminals for both terminals will run to the corresponding 2nd switch at the other door. At these switches you you will run the power wire to the light assemblies themselves. This way power will be able to run from one switch to the 2nd across the travel wires and then to the light itself when both the front and rear switch are in the same position. By flipping one of the switches it breaks the connection and no power will go to the light.
