The Rhino Rack RVP roof rack part # RRRVP15 does have a high enough weight capacity for a roof top tent. The 165 lb weight capacity is the dynamic weight capacity which is how much it can carry safely on the highway. The rack doesn't have a static weight capacity but what the roof top tent manufacturers have told us that if the rack has a dynamic capacity of 165 lbs then it would have the static capacity needed for the roof top tents like the Thule Tepui Foothill part # TH37HJ.
