What if 2016 Ford Edge Roof Is Rated Lower Than Rhino-Rack ROC25 Roof Rack

Question:
I was looking to purchase the rhino rack for my 2016 ford edge flush roof no moon roof Which boast a 165lb But my vehicle owners Manual says the oem roofracks only hold 100lbs But I do not have an oem roof rack, should that mean I go off of the rhino racks weight?

The Rhino-Rack ROC25 Roof Rack for Naked Roofs part # RR26XR which is a fit for a 2016 Ford Edge is capable of supporting up to 165 lbs. That said, the roof rack is tested separately of the vehicle therefore you must also follow the vehicle's roof weight rating and abide by the lowest rated component whether that's the roof rack or vehicle.
