Can a Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator Be Used to Run Propane to a 2nd Location

Question:

I am considering adding a second propane tank for garage/workshop, but also as a backup for the house. Can this valve be used to bring the second propane supply line into the house?

The Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator # CAM59005 is designed to switch from one propane tank to another automatically when the first one is empty, in order to prevent you from having to refill that one tank or swap in a new tank to keep your propane appliance running. It will not allow you to run propane to a second location.

It also sounds like you are dealing with residential propane, which is a different category altogether. You would need to consult a residential propane provider, as we only deal in recreational propane.
