I checked with Surco and you would want the Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Basket for Factory Rails # SPS4550-1101. This rack and its included installation hardware have been confirmed to fit the factory rails of your 1996 GMC Yukon.
The Clamp-On Adapters # SP1101 that you referenced are included with the # SPS4550-1101, the last four numbers of its part number are indicative of this.
