Question:
I recently purchased a new 2022 Ford 250 for my landscaping/snow removal business. Ill start off by saying Im an idiot and should have went with an F350 or bigger, but i couldnt find one in my area and needed another plow truck right away for a new snow contract so i went with the F250 not thinking about all the weight i would have on my truck. But regardless....I currently have a Boss plow on the front of the truck weighs about 900lbs, a 1.5 cu yard salt dogg salt spreader in the bed weighs about 550lbs empty, as well as a boss back drag plow mounted on the back end weighs about 900lbs. Obviously I have to remove the back drag plow when I salt but most days I like to start my mornings with about 1000lbs of salt in my spreader with both plows hooked up, then after buzzing through my large accounts with the back drag plow I unhook that and start using the salt spreader. I was just wondering which product I could or should get to help with the increased weight. During the non-winter months I will occasionally be hauling a dump trailer, but not often enough that Im worried about the weight. I was thinking a product like this would work better than the air bag system and if the ride quality became an issue in the spring when I dont have the weight I could just put the original bump stocks back on my truck and then during winter put this product back on to help with weight. I appreciate any help in advance!

The Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # TFR250SDJ will work, but I recommend the # TFRTT350J instead. This is the severe service kit which is designed for applications like your salt spreader where the truck has a constant load. The difference is that the # TFRTT350J already has the springs compressed which will give you a better ride with the spreader.
Normally I would recommend air bags like the # F95FV since you won't have a lot of weight in the truck outside of winter. These will allow you to minimize the impact on your unloaded ride quality. However, if you don't mind switching out the Timbren when you don't have your salt spreader that will save you some money.
