How To Add A Ford Puck System To A 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty Long Bed

Question:

I just purchased a new 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty Long bed. It did not come with the factory puck system and I really would like one. What would I need to get to install one into my truck bed.

The Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit RP87FR will provide you with the same puck system as the Ford prep puck system and will allow for your 2023 Ford truck to have a clean bed after installation while you're not towing. If you do not already own a fifth wheel trailer hitch The Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30921 will fit nice and secure in the newly added puck system mentioned above. I like this fifth wheel hitch over the other hitches we sell because the hitch has a longer handle that makes it easier to throw open the jaws when hooking or unhooking your fifth wheel trailer. The fifth wheel hitch has a gross trailer towing weight up to 20,000 pounds and has a vertical load up to 5,000 pounds. I would recommend checking your vehicle's owner manual to find the proper towing capacity of your 2023 Ford.

To finish your new towing journey you may also need a trailer wiring harness. The Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug # 41157 will plug into your existing wiring and will retain use of the factory 7-pole at the bumper.
