Question:

I need to replace my current Blue Ox Avail tow bar due to age. Been looking at a replacement Blue Ox but am intrigued with the e67ZR bar. The features look great and price is awesome but is there annual maintenance like on the Blue Ox? They require to replace a bunch of nylon washers every year. Does the e67ZR need a repair kit annually?

I took a look at the maintenance instructions for the etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates item # e67ZR. There are no parts that have to be annually replaced. You will want to lubricate the latch trigger area of the extending legs routinely but other than that the only time you will need to replace parts is when something gets damaged or worn out.

The etrailer XHD item # e67ZR is compatible with Blue Ox base plates. It has a 10,500 lbs capacity and weighs 46 lbs. This tow bar fits a 2" receiver and is made in the USA.
