Question:
Is the Kats 1190 exspensive to run? I usually leave it plugged in over night and into the next day cause its negative temps for multiple days here in Montana? How much money does it cost to run lets say for 12 hrs?

Expert Reply:
The Kat's Heaters Handi-Heat Magnum Magnetic Heater part # KH1190 pulls around 300 watts which you can then use to guesstimate cost. I have attached a formula for you below but we could not accurately inform of cost as there are to many variables at play.
1) Watts ÷ 1,000 = Kilowatts (kW)
2) Kilowatts (kW) x Hours of Use = Kilowatt Hours (kWh)
3) Kilowatt Hours (kWh) x kWh rate = Cost of Usage
