Question:
From another reply stating that parts on the mast are not replaceable, this may be a lost cause, but: The Upper hand lever the one on the mast that lets you lower the whole rack for access into the rear of the car has broken. Is it replaceable?
asked by: Paul B
Expert Reply:
You are correct that the upper lever is not replaceable on your Yakima RidgeBack 4 Bike Rack # Y02458. Rather than replacing the entire rack you can add the Yakima BackSwing Swing Away Hitch # Y02483. This will swing the bike rack out 90 degrees allowing for better access to the rear of your car.
