I do have one solution for you as the power cord for your Blue Ox Patriot BRK2012 is hardwired. You will need to cut the female end of the 12-Volt Extension Cord # RM-9331 off and wire it to your Patriot supplemental braking system.
We do have the newest Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR if you feel it is time to upgrade. This unit is smaller making it easier to install and store away.
