I just purchased a 2022 Jeep Gladiator and I see there is two options for it. What are the differences between the hitches?

When choosing the correct trailer hitch we do have two options that are confirmed to fit your 2022 Jeep Gladiator. Both hitches are similar but do have big differences.

The Draw-Tite Hitch # DR64FR has a more traditional install and will install that secures to the jeep's trailer frame using existing hardware and supplied hardware. The Curt Hitch # CU74FR attaches to the Gladiator's rear bumper cover and then secures through the rear cross member. The Draw-Tite hitch has a gross towing weight capacity at 7,500 pounds when The Curt hitch has a gross towing weight capacity of 5,000 pounds.

Out of the two hitches, I would recommend The Draw-Tite Hitch # DR64FR especially if you plan on towing on a regular basis like if you own a camper, and you can also use a weight distribution hitch with the Draw-Tite hitch. The Curt hitch is more used for occasional light towing or if you need a hitch for like a bike rack or cargo carrier, and can not be used with a weight distribution hitch.
