The Dexter Trailer Axle with Electric Brakes part # 6340624-EB for example is a 5,200 lb axle assembly which comes complete with braking assemblies and hubs/drums, weighs around 150 lbs. The length of the axle would also play a factor in its weight as they can come in a few different lengths.
