Can Dust Cap on Yakima HitchLock Be Replaced

Replacement Dust Cap w/ Tether for InfiniteRule Tapered Locks -1-1/4 - Qty 1 Item # 340M55787-01 InfiniteRule logo Would you know if this will fit a Yakima hitch lock? The Dust cover fell off mine.

The InfiniteRule locks have a different design than the Yakima locks so I don't see how it would fit properly over the Yakima HitchLock # Y07235.
I know it's probably not what you want to hear but my recommendation is to replace the HitchLock body you currently have with a new one as part # 8820048. You can swap out your current lock core to the new body by using the Control Key # Y8007835.
This gives you a new cover for your Yakima locking hitch pin to help keep out dirt and debris.
