Question:
Hello, Is there an awning you recommend that would attach to the Thule Aeroblade Edge? Would the Yakima Slim shady be suitable?

I doo have a solution for you, however the Yakima SlimShady Awning - Roof Rack Mount - Clamp On # Y36VR that you mentioned will not work with your Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack.
Instead, I recommend checking out the Thule HideAway Awning - Roof Rack Mount - Waterproof # TH620001 with the Roof Rack Adapters for Thule HideAway Awnings - TH490008 and TH490010 # TH490001.
This will allow you to mount your awning to the t-tracks in your Aeroblade Edge crossbars and are made from high grade, heavy duty steel.
Additionally, this awning measures 10' x 8' and has an 80 square foot coverage.
