What is required to flat tow a 1990 miata

There are a number of parts needed in order to flat tow your 1990 Mazda Miata, which I'll list for you:
- Base Plate Kit: Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # 711-4
- Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plates # e44ZR
- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Wiring Kit # RM-152-1676-7
- Supplemental Braking System: Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524
The base plates will be installed on your '90 Miata to give it an attachment point for the tow bar, which goes in your motorhome's hitch. You also need safety chains, but the # e44ZR comes with those already, so you do not need to purchase them separately.
The wiring kit is needed to activate your Miata's turn signals and brake lights, and the braking system allows for safe, complete stops so your Miata doesn't push your motorhome as you try and brake.
