Updated 10/31/2022 | Published 10/29/2022 >
Question:
Our 2019 For Explorer Sport has 4 hangers for the exhaust. The video says there are only 3. Will the etrailer still fit? Do I need to remove all 4 hangers? 2 in rear and 2 underneath?

Expert Reply:
The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98867 will still fit your 2019 Ford Explorer. You will have to remove the exhaust from all 4 hangers to lower it for the hitch installation. That will be the only exception for the installation process. Make sure to keep your exhaust secure with a wire or strap to prevent damage.
