Question:
can you recommend anti rattle hitch pins to reduce rattling on the Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount for 2 Trailer Hitches?
asked by: Neil T
Expert Reply:
There aren't anti-rattle hitch pins for the Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount for 2" Trailer Hitches # D900 because anti-rattle pins are for hollow shank style mounts. There is an anti-rattle bolt on the # D900 mount, but if there is a lot of rattle in the hitch, there is an option to minimize it greatly with a clamp-style option:
- Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 2" Trailer Hitches # RM-061
The # RM-061 will tighten the ball mount in the hitch and reduce any movement, which is going to give you a much quieter overall ride, even without an added anti-rattle pin.
