Question:

I am looking for a set of Firestone AirBags for my 2023 GMC 3500. I am not a fan of air lifts product and I am not sure which ones fit my truck. I tow a 5th wheel trailer that weighs around 22k lbs. I also do not want to mess with going to a gas station or finding an air compressor. Could you recommend an on board one?

For your 2023 GMC Sierra 3500 you are going to want the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F2613. These air bags have a 5,000 lbs load leveling capacity so they will offer plenty of support for your 5th wheel trailer. They are compatible with in bed hitches as well.

They feature a no-drill install which you can see in the attached video. I always recommend Firestone over Air Lift as the air bag construction is much more durable and the kits are typically easier to install. These air bags fit both the single rear wheel and dually model 3500's.

For an onboard compressor you'll want the Firestone Air Command II item # F2219. This is a dual path system that will allow you to control the PSI in your air bags from the comfort of your cab. This 150 PSI compressor system comes with a electric dual-gauge control panel.

You may also want to use the Firestone Universal Air Compressor Mounting Kit item # F2497. The included brackets clamp onto your vehicle's frame without drilling.
