In order to find the brake light switch on a 1995 Dodge Ram 3500 for installation of an electric trailer brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90885 you'll need to test the wires going into the brake pedal with a circuit tester. The wire you're looking for is only hot while the brake pedal is pressed. The wire will then be hooked up to the red wire on the trailer brake controller.

Unfortunately, we don't know what color wire the stop light switch is on this vehicle.
