Question:
My hose is 3/8inch but everywhere I look, replacements are 1/4. Should I replace them both? Why is this anyway? My trailer is 2019

Expert Reply:
1/4" is the most typical fitting size for the inlets on an RV regulator but manufacturers typically throw whatever they have onto the trailers so the 1/4" size could've just been out of stock at the time your RV was manufactured or they just got a better deal on the other regulator.
Personally, I would just swap out the pigtail hoses to make things easier and allow you to connect to the Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator for Dual Propane Tanks # CAM59005. You could use part # 100575-15-MBS to swap both of your hoses and thread into the inlets.
