To determine if your 2013 Ford F-250 can be flat towed with all 4 wheels on the ground you will need to determine which 4WD shifter you have. If you have the floor mounted shifter you will be able to move it into neutral for flat towing. If you have the push button electronic shifter there is no way to shift that transfer case in to neutral. There are still options such as removing your driveshafts or having some type of aftermarket disconnect installed which will put your truck into a neutral tow mode.
First you will need a Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # 4428-3. This will then allow you to connect the Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-422. The tow bar is rated for up to 10,500lbs ensuring it will be able to hold up while towing your heavy F-250.
For the electrical side the RoadMaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain Combo Towing Kit # RM-9243-3 will contain the wiring necessary for you to use the tail lights on your F-250. It also includes locks, safety cables, lube and storage cases to keep all of your parts together. You will also need the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 to maintain the battery power on your F-250.
You will need a supplemental braking system to activate the brakes on your F-250. The Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO # DM86VR is our best system if your motorhome uses hydraulic brakes. Otherwise you will want the Demco Air Force One # DM26VR for a motorhome with air brakes.
Finally you may need a High-Low Adapter like the 4" Adapter # RM-048-4 to raise your receiver on your motorhome. The tow bars need to be within 3" of level from the receiver on your motorhome to the base plate connection. Depending on any lifts or leveling kits I do know that a F-250 with the 245/75R17 tires had a height of 22.5" to the base plate arm connection.
