For your 2022 Subaru Ascent, you can use the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e55ZR. This hitch is made in the USA, has a bolt-on, no-drill installation and will provide you with a 2" hitch receiver. The 2" hitch receiver is the most common size used for hitch mounted accessories such as bike racks, cargo carriers and ball mounts. The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e55ZR also has a nice matte black finish.
If you plan to do any towing, you can round out a tow package by picking up the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118790 and the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
