The Erickson Over-The-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack # EM07707 would not be able to be used in conjunction with your Leer bed cap since they both would clamp onto the lip of the bedrails. Instead you could install a roof rack onto your bed cap to allow you to haul additional items.
I recommend the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells # Y02-490B. This roof rack has a track that will allow you to easily slide your crossbars around to the desired spacing for whatever you're needing the haul. The crossbars have an aerodynamic shape to help reduce drag and also have a c-channel to allow you to slide in additional Rhino-Rack accessories.
