The diodes for your Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 will still need to be installed in your 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser and I've attached wiring diagrams below to match your separately wired vehicle with either a combined or separate wired motorhome.
You can tell if the brake and turn signal lights are separated on your motorhome by looking at the back and seeing if two separate lights function.
For applications that have separate lighting, this kit will cause your brake lights to function as both brake and turn signal lights. A wiring converter # 118158 and 2 additional diodes # RM-792 will be needed if you want to retain separate turn and brake signals.
The power for the lights is going to come through the 6-pin connector from your motorhome so if you're not getting power you'll want to test the 7-way on your motorhome with a tester # PTW2993 for functionality. From there you can plug in your cable and test the cable to rule it out as the issue. After that you can plug the cable into your 6-pin and test the wires on the back to see if the connector is the issue or if the connections are loose.
I also recommend checking all your connections to make sure each one is fully secured for proper operation.
