The LED Trailer Clearance or Truck Cab Light part # CBL22AB is simply a clearance/side marker light, this means it will only illuminate when the running/tail lights are active. It has only two wires for a simple installation, the white is for ground and the black is for power. The black will need to be tied into the running light circuit, usually a brown wire on trailers. I'm not sure what you'll be using the light for or where you'll be installing it but it would not require any converter.
