Question:
I got a brake control from you and was told that the connection for the control was behind a little panel on the dash. I took it out but there is not connection there. where I get a brake wire to hook up the control.

The factory trailer brake controller port on a 2012 Ford F-250/F-350 is attached to the back of the change pocket in the center of the dash. This can then be accessed by prying the panel with the cigarette lighter out away from the vehicle using a trim panel tool. You'll then need a trailer brake controller and the correct adapter to plug in, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90885 and Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3034-P.
