Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2019 Subaru Impreza Sedan

Question:

What hitch do you recommend for a 2019 Subaru sedan? What modifications are required for installation? These I would like to minimize. Thanks.

For your 2019 Subaru Impreza Sedan I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11466. This is a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver. The receiver and capacity are the same as the Draw-Tite # 24960, but I would choose the Curt since they tend to have a thicker powder coat finish. This will hold up better over time and provide better protection.

Both hitches may require enlarging the access holes. For installation of the Curt hitch you will need to cut two 1" holes in the heat shield, while the Draw-Tite requires cutting a larger section off. Outside of the heat shield and access holes, no additional modification is required.
